Who we are
Occasyn builds and runs digital experiences for events on behalf of the people hosting them. For guest data we act as a processor on the host’s behalf; for our own clients and website visitors we are the controller.
If you are a guest
Your host gave us your name and a way to reach you so that we could send your invitation. We hold that, your RSVP and any answers you give (meal choice, dietary needs, accessibility requirements) and we share them with your host, because that is the point of the RSVP.
We do not sell guest data, we do not use it for marketing, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics on event pages. We count page views and RSVP completion for your host using first-party data only, with no cross-site identifier.
Your invitation link is personal to you. If you would like your details removed, ask your host or write to us and we will act on it.
If you are a client
We hold your contact details, your event details, quotes and payment records. Card details never reach Occasyn: payments are handled by Stripe, and we store only the outcome, the amount and the last four digits for reconciliation.
Cookies
We use one cookie for guests: a session cookie set when you open your invitation, so you do not have to find the link again. It contains an opaque token and nothing about you. Signed-in staff and clients have an authentication cookie. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
How long we keep things
Guest data is kept for the life of the event and for twelve months afterwards, unless the host asks us to remove it sooner. Financial records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@cloudcorehub.com and we will respond within 30 days.
See our data deletion instructions for the information to include and what happens after a request.
Sub-processors
We use Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Twilio (SMS). Each processes data only to provide its service.
