How it works

Managed, not do-it-yourself

Occasyn is a service, not a tool you have to learn. Here is exactly what happens, from your first message to the morning after.

  1. 01

You tell us about the event

A short form: what the occasion is, when and where it happens, roughly how many people, and what you would like guests to be able to do. Five minutes, no obligation.

You get an email confirming we have it, with a reference you can quote.

  2. 02

    We review it properly

A real person reads your request. If something is unclear or we think there is a better approach, we ask. Usually within two business days.

Sometimes we will decline. If we cannot do your event justice, we will say so.

  3. 03

    You get a quote

A fixed price for your event, itemised, with everything that is included spelled out. No subscription and no per-guest surprises.

The quote is a private link. Accept it and pay online whenever you are ready.

  4. 04

    We build your experience

Our team sets everything up: your colours and typography, the event page, the schedule, the RSVP questions that matter for your evening, the venue details and the FAQs.

You see a preview before anything goes to a single guest.

  5. 05

    Invitations go out

We send them by email, by SMS, or both. Each guest gets a private link. They tap it once and they are in. No account, no password, no app to install.

You can see who has opened theirs and who has not.

  6. 06

    RSVPs come back

Attending, not attending, maybe, plus meal choices, dietary needs, accessibility requirements and anything else you asked. All in one place, exportable whenever you need it.

    Your caterer will thank you.

  7. 07

    Through to the day itself

Announcements reach every guest before and during the event: shuttle times, a change of room, the weather. Afterwards, the gallery goes up for the people who were there.

We stay with the event until it is over.

Ready when you are

Start with a request

It takes about five minutes and commits you to nothing.
